Not a spoiler, I promise. I was worried cos I had such high hopes about SATC the movie. Since we were at Zomba (a good 7 years ago) we’d watch a few episodes on a Friday night and then paint the town red feeling all fabulous. The dvds saw me through a major breakup, the icky dates, the nice dates, made me crave a Fendi, love shoes even more, understand why girlfriends were so important, it was ok not to like a Cosmopolitan and I guess made me feel normal. So yeah, I laughed at parts till tears came out, like an old friend, it was great to catch up.

So don’t continue reading if you haven’t watched it yet but seriously, I ain’t saying anything intelligent.
 
I really liked the movie cept’ for the many horses dying, I do hate it when animals die in movies (yes, I know it’s fake but still…). I digress… the movie, magnificent abs….stab, delicious abs….slices and dice, dirty shiny fab abs…arrows, hot pecs….oh crap, men are dying, washboard abs and they all fall down. Oh yeah, the cinematography was fantastic etc, every woman would want a husband like Leonidas…swoon and the bad guy Xerxes is the same dude that played the major hottie in Love Actually

Went to Holland V to get some baking stuff for my mom but the shop closes at 7pm… bleagh. So we went just next door to Pizza Bar and had Cheese, Mushroom, Black Truffle Pizza, it smelt so darn wonderful and their Italian white wasn’t too bad either. Hurried down to get cookies and meet Wen and the Makster to watch The Holidays, it’s a lovely feel good movie, the singles might tear a lil though cos it hits the nail on the head.
 
There’s gonna be a new baby coming in later on today and I bet he’s gonna be a cutie. I like babies when they’re quiet, look at you and just yawn…once they start with the crying it’s like, take it back please!

It’s hard to go out when you’re feeling poorly and have to drag your tired ass to the cinema cos you’d booked tickets ages ago. So anyways, I love foreign films, I like the scenery, the accents, the new faces. So much about it is different from normal Hollywood celluloid (which I also like btw).

 

I caught C.R.A.Z.Y a canadian french film on Sat and I kinda liked it, Ann wasn’t too impressed and I don’t think she’s ever letting me pick shows again but… yeah, I liked it especially like the music. I think somewhere towards the end the director wasn’t sure if he wanted the main character to be gay or not.

 

The flick I watched yesterday was quirker complete with ‘talking’ koi and a pretty german girl (who knew). The Fisherman & His Wife, behind the laughs this show based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale made me think.

I’m feeling way too sick to work, I need more sleep now. Oh and before I forget to mention… I’m going bowling tmr…. the fourth time in my entire life *grumble*.
