So the death sentence… it’s like this, everyone knows how serious and cruel Singapore is when it comes to drugs the simplest thing to do is to not carry drug in at all, ever. So it’s sad that Yong Vui Kong is so young and perhaps it was a stupid mistake but you know the rules, did you think you won’t get caught? Well you did and as cruel, inhuman and insane as it might be for most it is the one thing that keeps the streets clean. I’ve never done drugs, it just wasn’t something that’s easy to get a hold of. For that I am thankful and if I have to raise Ry in Singapore this would be the plus point. But I do feel for Yong’s family, it’s sad.
I also watch my bag like a hawk when I go to Thailand and Bali… have you seen the insides of their jails? Shudder!

It’s time to pick up the D40x and give it a spring clean, it’s been chucked aside and I’ve only been using my Canon G10 because it’s just easier with baby in tow. But Phuket beckons and I was actually entertaining the idea of leaving the DSLR at home but me, on a holiday with just one camera? No way. Which reminds me…where the hell is my lomo?
I also need to really clean my bike!! Don’t think I’ll have the time or energy to do it when I get back from my holiday and the ‘race’ is that weekend!! I know I’m an idiot for signing up cos my body is weak… but the mind is willing A lil mini won’t kill me… right? RIGHT? But it would suck to come in last

I do *heart* Sydney, enough to have Singas and Sydney weather on my Chrome. Ain’t the weather in Sydney just bloody awesome right about now!! I do miss the waves and the sun so…

I felt like closing my eyes…just for a minute while I waited for the free internet to load up at the airport. 3 hours of sleep does nothing for me. I hope all the movies on board suck so I can sleep.
And yeah I took both cameras along cos I couldn’t bare to leave any at home

I gotta say I didn’t expect to be heading back quite so soon but the husband really wants to go and well that’s what marriage is all about right? Sacrifice…
Seriously, I wasn’t keen but I have to admit, I’m getting excited and am looking forward to it. 4 days near a beach, some time at Rottie, a day checking out the Chocolate Factory, two days in the Valley of the Giants and the last day in the city… it’s very different from my other trips there. Looking forward to seeing John and some quiet time I guess, oh oh oh and stocking up on BONDS!
11 days seem just around the corner but in reality, there’s so much going at work before I leave, it seems AGES away.

So it’s a mix between fear, panic, joy …. cos 1. I feel horrible every time I leave my babies 2. I would really like to fit in one gym session but I know that would leave me with too little time with them 3. I really have to pack tonight and I’m NOT super fond of packing 4. all the Vietnamese spelling/words make me confused beyond words, seriously, give me Japanese, Chinese even Korean and I think I’ll be more comfortable… Niah, Ð, Thian, Binh, Boh, Hia, Ai, Hua etc.. WHAT? UH? My poor brain refuses to comprehend!! So I’m gonna be a total bimbo with the map.
That being said, I’m praying for good weather but I’m bringing my rain coat (which I still haven’t worn, got it for Cambodia). Oh oh… and I got my suitcase and love it…wish it was a wee bit bigger but seriously I need to pack smart…always over packing. Wish me luck.
