In less than 24 hours, I’m gonna be a Mrs…. I’m still not ready, I haven’t packed my bags, I haven’t finish writing my speech. Trying to keep the stress levels down… The only thing I’m proud of is sticking with the noon mass cos seriously I hate waking up before 7.30 am!

Let’s see the groom has a headache and is very tired and grumpy. My slideshow crashed so Ann has to work OT. I hate pale peach roses and the helpers are gonna be wearing them… I can only thank god that I got my way and got my blooms from Olive 3 (thanks Mommy)!! The parents are tired but they’ve been super easy going and I’m grateful that they’re paying for the flowers and reception. I’ve collected my gowns and I’m content. I’m not bloated or PMSing neither have I gone spotty but I haven’t exercised ALL week, shame. Can’t think of anything else…. I must go shower, pack my bags and then sit still, finish my speech and watch Shark. Must sleep by 1am!

Okay, to be honest, money is always preferred, simply because we’re pretty much funding the celebration ourselves with some help from the folks and it would ease our pain and help me enjoy throwing Allen and myself off a cliff in NZ.

However, I’d never ever have the audacity to say no to a present . The problem is, is that I’m a tad bit fussy so here’s a guide… no teddy bears, no Precious Moments… no girlie-cutie-pie stuff. You can’t go wrong with black/ dark brown photo frames, funky tableware from Tangs or the like, candles which remind me of an island getaway, glassware to toast to everlasting happiness maybe a ball and chain for Allen and a whip for me. hur hur hur.

I have a bloody headache. It really doesn’t matter how much you plan does it… things just screw up it’s like there’s no way around it. 12 days to The Day and as usual, like in any other event I’m wishing I had 5 more days, cos those 5 days (I believe) would make everything just perfect. I know there’s no such thing as perfection but OHMIGAWD…my eyeballs hurt.

It’s getting closer and closer to The Day and I’d be lying if I said I’m not a tad bit nervous. I was sitting in Tits car and started thinking..in a month I’m gonna right here in this seat, driven to church…and I found it hard to breath. I know R’s the one for me, I’ve never been so sure of anything, sure he sucks at directions and nags at me till I sometimes fall asleep but I’m pretty decent at directions and reading maps (if I’m paying attention) and he’s nags cos he cares and does not seem too upset then I start getting sleepy . It’s yin and yang really. When I’m tired he keeps me going and when he’s tired and grumpy, well… I usually get out of his way and he just needs sleep. Heck, it’s not like I’m all that and a bag of chips but he really likes me for me.
 
Anyways, I digress, I’m nervous and I think it’s only right that I should be, I aim to do this only once and I really don’t wanna fuck up. If you had asked me during my birthday in 2006, if I was ever going to get married, I’d say… I don’t think so, cos I refuse to settle and I was tired of looking for Mr Right. So much has changed and I still struggle with making decisions as team, just so used to being Miss Independent! Slowly finding a balance.
 
Wish me luck, I still have so much to do, I just wanna go for my honeymoon at this rate.

You know you’re old when you don’t need the drinks to make you do stupid things. It was great fun with some of the girlies (some were stuck unpacking or overseas).
 
So if you got a call from the Crab Lady, Sasha or the Batty Old English Lady tellin’ you that you have a Small Penis… thanks for being a part of our night and we weren’t lying bout the size.

So I sent R a copy of the Bachelorette Oath of Secrecy and one of the terms is:
 
A Diva who has too much alcohol or has poor taste and is speaking with sleazy unattractive boys/men for more than one minute must be escorted back to the Diva Layer for protection and to save herself from embarrassment (which would have possibly occurred the following morning).
* Divas…are ‘ma bitches’, Queen Bee is the Bride-to-Be
* I think this should be applied to all party nights out!!
 
His retort: Saving each other from unattractive men is hardly a sacrifice
M: It’s funny, do you want me to do one up for you and the boys?
R: Okie and yes, does it mean attractive woman are fair game? See loop holes are dangerous
 
Sigh, I’m marrying a smart ass. However, it’s one thing to have fun with hotties, good, only very slightly sleazy fun…it’s a different story to find yourself in bed with a fug ho’ (or just being hit on by fugs…gag..save me). Ann & Ames are planning my Bachelorette Night and Cassie is flying in, just in time for it. I’m crossing my fingers for fun fun fun!!

Wendy’s gown, evening dress are all pretty much done. I like them both and the evening gown is sexy – different. Everything seems to be moving along and I’m pretty pleased that I’m doing my duties. Of course, this causes me to freak out cos my wedding is like 2 weeks after and I haven’t a clue how I’m going to look in my wedding gown and I have no idea what I’m wearing at night…. not the colour even, cos the only colour that appeals to me is GREEN GREEN GREEN!! Plus, the design I want is too simple and too popular *grrrr*. The good news is that I bought my shoes for the day and I love it!!
 
We went to have a look at the wedding bands and these two fugly rings with black dots were ’presented’, I was not amused. They have to be custom made and cos it’s thicker they must get the size right. Whew! But, I had to look at the ready-made ones to comfort myself. I think we’ll get them mid August.
 
Flowers, we’re gonna go with Olive Tree to make things easy.
